| The 2000 Cannondale Connecticut Mountain Bike Challenge Series is a series of six cross-country type mountain bike races held at six different venues throughout the state of Connecticut between April 16, 2000 and August 27, 2000. This is the second year for the series which has expanded this year to become the most diverse mountain bike race series in Connecticut for 2000, having races at six unique venues. The series contains 4 well-established races - Mountain City Madness; Blood Rock Bike Boogie; Mohawk Mountain Bicycle Madness; and Dooley's Run - a new version of a standing favorite - Winsted Wild Ride (a continuation of the former Winsted Woods at a new venue); - as well as the second year running of The Lime Rock 'n Roll Mountain Bike Classic, with a great venue at the Lime Rock Park racing facility in Salisbury, Connecticut. The series offers free events for children 5-11 years old, easy-to-enter races for first-time racers 12 years and older, age divisions for all women's categories, as well as 50 and older age groups in men's points categories. |  |

is offering the JuniorX class in
addition to the regular Junior offerings. This

| All of our series races utilize www.goodtiming.com computerized timing and scoring services - with the exception of Dooley's Run on August 6 - to deliver results quickly and accurately on race day, on the www.goodtiming.com web site the night of the event, and on the USA Cycling web site for NORBA National Rankings. Updated points standings are typically posted the day after the event. | ||||||||||||
